This is just turning into a farce. Suggest we stay with Mason as he knows the club and the players inside out and is Spurs through and through. OK no real track record, no big name but do we need that with this current fsituation. Stay with what we know. All Managers have to start somewhere why not Mason coupled with the new Director of Football to guide us through.

Trying to think if a total novice has ever been let loose on a club the size of Spurs before and it working out.

It’s a bit of a shambles that our newly appointed DOF and Levy are seemingly already at odds with each other.

If this is the case, this whole debacle is just getting to the point of being utterly moronic.

It started innocuously enough, but it’s reached primary school levels of stupid, now.

And I think that’s being harsh on primary schoolers.

It’s beyond a farce now, we are an utter laughing stock.
I can’t agree about Mason, we need to show some ambition or more than Kane will leave and we will struggle to get in quality

It’s almost as if there’s a consistent issue at the club, I just can’t put my finger on it..

20 years and just 1 League Cup. Richest club in Europe NOT to have won it's domestic league or primary cup in the 21st century. Plenty or outstanding players and a few world class players in the last 20 years.
Levy/Lewis have made themselves fabulously wealthy, but we are just a money making machine.
We will pay top wages to our manager, but no one fancies working under Levy.
Won't change until they sell up imo.

Let's give Jurgen a go! Why not?! He would clearly love it (despite being 8 - 20th choice. He'd bring the love. He'd remind us of the famous 5. I, for one, would get on board with the romantic notion that he should have been number one in the first place. He'd know that he wasn't, and knows what he'd be walking into. I'm sure that he'd know that he will likely have input but not final say in signings. Plus, he's Jurgen! Plus, why the hell not, at this stage?!

Funny how Hoddle was given all kinds of kudos as a former playing hero at Spurs despite being a sub-mediocre manager, yet Klinsmann who's a better and more experienced coach isn't getting a break. I say bring Jurgen in. Shoot he's the only guy who actually wants the job besides Ryan 'play my buddies' Mason...

The dynamic between Levy and Paratici is going to be interesting. Itll be interesting to hear the full story of Fonseca and Gattuso. If Paratici decided to second guess himself and initiated the Gattuso move and breakdown of Fonseca agreement, it doesn't bode well at all. You can't have a DoF be so indecisive and frivolous....he's well on the way to becoming Fabio Partridge, as someone said in the other thread, and will deserve that moniker. Unless he gets a grip here and sorts this out.

solskjaer? Not exactly worked out well, but I'd settle for 2nd place next year.
