You wouldn't know it what with all the hoo-hah surround race issues, potential fan-clashes and the type of victim mentality that makes every born and bred scouser secretly delighted, but there's actually some football happening this weekend.

Obviously this thread will be largely defunct if we do anything silly against the Hornets tonight, but on the assumption that come tomorrow we'll still have an interest in the FA Cup I demand that you answer these three questions:

1. Will Anton Ferdinand shake John Terry's hand?
2. Will a Liverpool fan shake Patrice Evra's throat?
3. Are there any other FA Cup games this weekend that look a bit tasty.

I think Hull v Crawley could be interesting and almost expect the Craws to win that one.

1. Yes
2. Wouldn't surprise me, I can definitely picture an Ajax-AZ situation developing there. Just hope the stewards do their jobs.
3. Meh, not really. Brighton-Newcastle could be good I guess, and Sunderland-Middlesbrough is a derby.

Looking forward to Liverpool-United game, hopefully live up to the hype. Our game being tonight is a bit of a let down but thankfully we are playing Tuesday as well!

I reckon we'll win 3-1 tonight, Kranjcar and Defoe will score.

I heard Ferdinand was seriously considering not shaking hands with him, and I hope he doesn't, what a pathetic show of petty and highly inappropriate compliance that would be.

Are the scousers playing at Anfield? If so I could imagine Evra getting a lot of stick, of course, all of it unnecessary.

On a personal note, I hope both Sheffield teams win theirs (quite possible - maybe more so for Wednesday) so we're in with a shout of drawing them in the next round up in this neck of the woods.

Yeah I don't see why they need to shake hands. Oh wait, the F.A.

Yep Anfield is the venue of the match tomorrow, I reckon it will be a very weird atmosphere!

Evra will undoubtedly get dogs abuse, but the simple fact is they will be hurling abuse at a player that was at the wrong end of racial abuse from one of their players. I'm sure the same will happen to Ferdinand from Chelski fans. Morons.

I can't believe that Evra is getting booed so loudly. How stupid do you have to be to boo someone who has done nothing wrong and has been racially abused? Whats next in Liverpool, headbutts for rape victims?!! Idiots.

Apparently at the QPR/Chelsea match they scrapped the pre-game handshakes altogether.

Booing a victim of Racial Abuse... stay classy Liverpool fans

Anyway onto the match itself... Think Utd are asking for trouble with Scholes, Giggs and Carrick in the midfield, could get over-run, but Liverpool are playing Carragher in there it seems so maybe not!

You have to remember that in the minds of the deluded liverpool fans Suarez is the victim of a ManU/FA conspiracy to prevent them having a chance of winning the title this season.

Close from Valencia!

I want Evra to score, just to see if there will be a full-scale riot in reaction to it

Liverpool are absolutely dire. They can't keep the ball for more than 6/7 passes it seems, and Caroll up front on his own? I'd rather Pav.

Still, I want United out so we have an even bigger chance to win this FA Cup. Come on you shite scousers
