Fingers crossed Villa come back and eventually win on pens!

Chelsea out and Villa knackered, win, win 🤣

I don't think I've really noticed it before tonight but I don't like those iridescent Nike badges.
Hope we ditch them soon because they look really nasty during a game.

Are Chelsea suddenly a cup team and Poch suddenly a cup manager? Poor in the league but always good in the cups so far.

It's like Spurs up to 2008.

What complete pricks Villa are, they can smell the Champions League cash and have thrown in the FA Cup to save themselves for the league.

Other than a 5-0 drubbing of Sheffield United, Villa have been shit since beating Arsenal and City back to back

I would love to believe that but I can't just yet. Their performance tonight is a world away from their performance just 4 days ago. They are just not bothered tonight.

"Enzo has fired Chelsea into the next stratosphere," proclaims Dion Dublin sagely.

As the scientists among you will know, the technical name for this is the stratostratosphere.

Is "Dion Dublin" just a nickname then?

Bit of both I feel, a Chelsea team with a point to prove, a coach under it that has them fired up and as you say an under par Villa that seem to be standing off and conserving energy or lacking enthusiasm.

I know it's Chelsea but I am enjoying seeing Villa get their arses smacked.

It is indeed a nickname.

But by massive coincidence, his real name is also Dion Dublin.

When he finally learned his real name - years after picking his nickname - the shock nearly propelled him into the stratostratosphere.

If we don't finish above Villa this season, I'll be disappointed.
