It's dodgy but not a professional foul, nor particularly dangerous, nor lacking any intent to play the ball. Not enough for a red in my opinion - I'd certainly be annoyed for it to be given against us.

That's what I thought too. But on the replay he really did cannon into the Wolves player's standing leg with great force and nowhere near the ball.

That's what surprised me about the VAR decision. I thought it was more red on replay than live (my initial reaction was that it was a very harsh red)

Agree. Didn’t watch the game, but just saw the highlights online. Not a good tackle, but no way a straight red imo.

Yeah Wolves held City at home early in the season and lost 3-0 away but that was after a 19th minute red card. They definitely have a good chance.

No one is cheating, it's the FA silly decision to only have VAR in current premier league stadiums that is the problem.
