Cease with this whole bullshit different Spurs narrative when there is nothing to warrant it. Ive heard it countless times before which different managers and different sides and yet the outcomes are exactly. What would be nice is that the supporter base actually held some level of expectation with regards to winning things instead this meek gutless attitude that it currently has. There is no pressure at any level at the club to win anything so is it any wonder that we do not?
How is bashing people who are still positive about where Spurs are at showing a 'winners attitude'? As a long standing Spurs fan, you must know yourself that the attitude and ambition at the club has not been this high since in maybe more than a generation.

90% of fans on here are proud of yesterday. Beggars belief. I bet you city fans aren't

Just why the fuck do you care what other Spurs fans think? If we want to be proud of our team so what? It doesn't affect you.

we have 4 players in the PFA team of the year, and that doesnt include Toby, Hugo, Eriksen, Verts who are also top players
its not as if we are fighting the Russian army with a pea shooter, we have superb players, i would say 8 of our team would be in our all time Prem team, with only King, Moddy and Bale getting above the other 3

We have an inexperienced team, and obviously were massively handicapped by losing Davies before the game, so had no fit left back in the squad. Which led to the penalty. And also it didn't help that Hugo made an schoolboy error for the free kick which would've been basically straight at him if he'd been standing in the right place. It's hard to legislate for such an elementary error from the captain of France.

And I find it hard to conclude inherent mental weakness in a team because they lost to what is comfortably the best team in the country.

We will only be taken seriously if we start winning stuff.

We're not gunna look back in 20 years with fond memories of the 16/17 season by finishing second and playing well in a semi final
No but I can look back 20 years at the mediocre fayre that we had back then and see a different club, let alone first XI.

Just don't watch it. I won't watch a second of it
Of course I won't watch it

That doesn't change my disappointment that one of those teams will win it

Worse yet that I will actually want Chelsea to win it

pretty poor comparision really, i was judging over the last 10/15 years or so, they won the FA cup twice a few years back and now have got to another final
we havent got to a final since 91, how many times have they won it since then
Yes, but this is since the era of Sky money. The top four have dominated the league titles and cups since 92. Money is the reason. Arsenal were buying £100k a week players when we were still paying £25k a week. It's no coincidence that City and Chelsea did nothing in the league and cups for years until they got their oil money.

You would probably be better advised going to Stamford Bridge or The Etihad, where your "expectation" can be matched by the owners' ill gotten cash. As for me I will take pride in our outperformance relative to our resources, look at the trajectory of our team on the pitch, realise that we have the best manager in the league and are 18 months away from having the best stadium in the league that will also see us start to close the financial gap.

Absolute nonsense. Everyone a the club is desperate to win a trophy, but there is a dose of reality when you're up against a team with a wage bill more than double ours, that cost half the Russian state's finances to build, who are the best team in the country by a mile.

This club for decade has been defined as a Champions league qualification club, not one that expects honours. The board clearly set their position on this, managers have lost their jobs for this and it is telling that the club's longest servant was more concered with finishing 4th last season than wining the title. Of course they will want to win things but there is no real demand, pressure or expectation too and there is absolutely no criticism when it does not, even when it has arguably the best side in the league. It is all very safe and comfortable from top to bottom and that does not crate then necessary culture for success.

Jesus, just finished watching the Arsenal/ManC semi final, what a pile of wank that was. Sloppy, end to end fiasco, played at walking pace for the last hour (slow walk in the case of Toure).

Things like this wind me up. One bloke2is rightly trying to play peace keeper and seems to be doing a good job and then one wanker comes flying in from off screen just to get a few punches off. Twat.

Considering there's no police to be seen, that's pretty tame and lame. Fat **** soon ran off diddnt he?!

Oh yeah don't get me wrong it's nothing more than handbags but I fail to believe the guy that throws the punch that gets it started again was even involved in the initial scuffle.

Reminds me of a load of hobbits trying to take down an orc though.

Big Arsenal blimp gets what he deserves, a couple of jabs from a nippy Chelsea boy, but the big Chelsea lump that wades in late just starts whacking some innocent black kid, tosser.
