Don't usually listen to it because I hate the way that Mike lad talks over guests but worth listening to the spurs show with David pleat which got released this morning. It was recorded last week so was after Contes rant but before he left.

David is a very sharp man. He obviously refused to answer straight questions like what do you think will happen now etc but listening to it he gives away enough, in a very indirect way, that anyone who listened to it live should have known what was coming with Conte going and Mason being involved for rest of season.

Fully refutes the selfish accusation of the players, was very strong on that.

He clearly didn't agree with Conte over his attitude towards youth but you'd expect that given pleats strong involvement with our youth set up.

Anyway worth a listen and be interested to see if others pick up on same things or disagree.

So you sack /conte and keep his assistant on as manager for the rest of the season, what a joke. Reeks of saving money to me, so they are only paying Conte off. no planning whatsoever.
Depends on how you look at it. Clearly your view is narrow.
Your post is more of a joke!

Yeah I listened to it earlier after seeing a link to it.

Wouldn't say it was easy listening..... for me, and to try and put it as nicely as possible, Pleaty was showing his age a bit. In a nice way but was all rather chaotic, still sharp as a tack but yet a bit doddery and almost a random stream of consciousness where he'd start on a new topic before finishing his last lol. Reminded me of my old man who is roughly the same age and started doing similar!

His passion for football still shone through. Reeled off the academy results and games he watches, eg. Notts County to see for himself their striker who is getting goal after goal. Lives and breathes it still and no sign of slowing down.

He also revealed that, whilst we knew he was still in the background, he's more of a presence at the club still than you'd expect. Watches most of the academy teams, often at the training ground and stadium, watches the first team train sometimes, etc.

He was careful with his words but was pretty clear from several answers he wasn't much of a fan of Conte, at all. Paratici neither, but that came across more as him being a bit old fashioned and not really getting the complexities of modern football and the various parts involved.

Fairly interesting listen all in all, was pretty open without saying it about his thoughts on Conte especially.

Hasn't been bad under paratici, most are working out. Lack of cb's, Ndombele and lo Celso have been the been the biggest cock ups.
Biggest problem has been our management team not playing them. Or waiting for them to learn to play in a 2 man midfield rather than a 3 man where they were scouted as good players. In a 3 you fucking clown Conte.

To be fair bentancur has been good. Bissouma has been injured, Sar is a kid and Skipp was injured for ages. Hojbjerg is average.

Conte is a winner, if he didn't have such a mediocre defense here we might have done better.

I can’t believe 25+ people thought Conte running down Tottenham, the players and everything about the club didn’t deserve a boot out the door. Bunch of fucking wankers. I definitely don’t belong in this shit hole. Fuck off all

I'm guessing it wasn't so much the sentiment of your post that generated so many dislikes, but rather your ineloquent way of communicating it.

I love the irony in your posts personally, and agree this place probably isn't for you.

What a way to bow out, Conte would be proud of you. Just out of interest how can a virtual internet forum be classed as a shit hole?
