Trying to be logical but being sad as well; do we honestly believe the rant is a sack able offence.

We might just be emotional about it all and fed up with the football on display however as the days go by I feel he might just be staying 😔

He should have been sacked after the cup exists.

JPB said right at the beginning of the pod that little or no info was coming out, so that was purely his opinion.
That’s right although he prefaced that specific bit with ‘I think I can say…’ which slightly suggests he was relaying info. Anyway doesn’t sound like it’s accurate one way or the other based on a response above

Really not certain he's gone. I hope he is. I think that's why I'm doubting it.
If he isn't, after allowing all the negative press and subsequent stories of potential new managers to unravel without saying a thing official, would be nothing less than a fucking disgrace.

But nothing would surprise me with this incompetent chairman in place.

The rant itself - no.

But, the realization that Conte is not going to re-new in the summer, and that the players may be less motivated to play the rest of the season may be a reason to accelerate the end of Conte's tenure here.
Disagree.

I think Simon Jordan summed that up quite nicely if anybody hasn't seen that

Since Nagelsmann is now on the market I’m finally in the Conte out camp. Tell Conte to stay in Italy (he should have jacked it in after his op in my opinion and the year he’s had, no one would have had a problem with that).
If I’m baldie I am setting Nagelsmann up for next season with Mason stepping in now with a view to him staying on as a coach next season.
You can chuck in Rangnick to replace Para whilst you’re at it as well.
Unfortunately something that appears straightforward to me won’t be to baldie though.

Is that because the situation is not as straightforward in reality as it appears to us fans or just that Levy is a bit thick?
I think he over analyses everything, even simple things and tends get obsessive over the details when sometimes common sense is just required.

I've a feeling this guy is very ill. Hope I'm drastically wrong
Or he went back to Italy at the start of the international break as he usually does as agreed by the club, levy and Paratici and he said they will work on the financials and paperwork for ending his contract 📑 which won’t be an issue but for him to sit tight in Italy whilst they sort out a replacement for now or summer and then announce the comms all at once.

Thanks @sidford for the Athletic article.

For you guys who have possibly read more of their articles on other clubs, I was wondering do they have that much insider info of the dressing room as well? Or were these considered leaks from the players? Because I wouldn't imagine the club, any club, would have allowed players to speak more than required. And if not, do the players shared such info out of their own casually (and stupidly without knowing), approached by the Athletic journalists knowing their intentions or they ran to them willingly spilling all out.

It's kind of concerning isn't it? To read from The Athletic the complaints from our players every time, before, during or after the sacking of managers.

This whole (yes you guest it) saga is becoming a joke. It's been a whole week since the press conference. Not a peep, officially from the club.

It wouldn't happen with another club and don't give me 'It's just happened with Munich' nonsense. Totally different set of circumstances.

We are pubically searching for another manager, talking with prospective managers out in the open all whilst STILL having a manager.

State of us.

It’s been a week since the outburst and he’s still officially in post, whilst every journo speculates on our new manager. It’s a terrible look for the club. I do wonder who advises Levy from a PR perspective - or whether he just ignores advice. This wouldn’t happen at any other club. Shambles.

@davidmatzdorf

So you're happy with how this is all panning out then?

We do look like complete chumps at this stage.

I'm sure there are 'good reasons' for it (money...it's money) but we still look like chumps.

I’m indifferent to the delay in Conte’s sacking thus far. It could be argued that we’re doing things on our terms, rather than on Conte’s (who clearly wanted to be sacked immediately). Also, gives us a bit of time to plan next steps for rest of season.

But it needs to be tied up by the time the international break finishes. So that when players return to Hotspur Way, there’s clarity on the situation. We could still finish in the top 4, so as clear a situation as possible for those efforts the better
