Fucking hell it's like feeding time in the zoo here sometimes.

This is a rumour, a guess, that's all. Stop acting like it's set in stone, been announced by the club or actually happened yet.

It may happen, but it hasn't happened yet. Save your hissyfits until then.

Running around the thread self flagellating, shouting 'oh woe is me' and tightly wrapping elastic bands around your nutsacks.

What's the matter with some of you, you're a sandwich short of a picnic.

Agreed on all points, and I love it.

Agreed. As long as Levy is in charge, we'll be fine and the manager doesn't matter. :)

Obviously Levy et al will receive the majority of the flack for this but Conte shouldn’t be let off scot-free.

He’s spent the majority of his time here belittling us, acting like he’s doing us a favour when we’re paying him fifteen million pounds a year and now is holding the future of the club in jeopardy by essentially doing what he said he wouldn’t do last year and just be here to collect his wages until the summer.

He got us to the Champions League but has now taken us backwards despite being given (albeit not enough) money in the summer. The Conte chants need to stop. He never deserved them anyway.

Such a shame. Might as well negotiate with Sporting for the release of Amorim now that we’re already in talks with them.

"Conte wants players to win while the club prefers to trade" - that sums our approach to transfers up perfectly. As long as that remains our approach we will be somewhat disadvantaged compared to the big boys when it comes to assembling a really top drawer squad.

So sad. :(
It's the Moneyball "your goal shouldn't be to buy players, your goal should be to buy wins."

For Di Marzio to say it’s a “certainty” suggests to me this isn’t just a well educated guess. He went on to criticise the club’s transfer policy and cited Conte’s family still remaining in Italy being a contributing factor.

He wouldn’t put that out there if it wasn’t straight from Conte. It risks his relationship with the club and the fans, ruins his negotiating power and wrecks our season.

But these are all common knowledge. No insider information in any of that.

Agreed. People will believe a piece by Di Marzio over what Conte literally says. He has been talking about us in a way that looks as if he wants to take on this challenge.

Add that to the fact that @Trix has confirmed about a thousand times that the club has the option to extend for another season.

People are addicted to bad news I swear it.

If Conte is gone, so is Kane.
You really think Kane is staying, even if Conte was here next season ?
He will be at Man U, Liverpool or someone like Bayern whoever is in charge. He wants to go, has made that clear, this summer is only time we have chance to get money for him

It's the conclusion any casual observer could come to. There is nothing to suggest it is a certainty.

Spurs are one thing to those in charge and quite another to us supporters. It was always this way under modern ownership and always will be, until those ends coincidentally align.

They remind me of that Catherine Tate character. You know, the mum who's shocked by anything and everything :D

True - but hearing it from Di Marzio, who is the biggest source of football news in Italy, will set people in panic mode as it has done on SC if you use this as a microcosm of the spurs fanbase. The anger which is mostly directed at Levy currently will soon turn to Conte. Especially if we lose tomorrow night.
