How many fitness coaches do we need? We already have the 3 Conte brought with him- as per the club website:

I don't really understand what a 4th would bring that the others don't already. Does any-one have an idea why this might be necessary?

I did wonder about that, but it really does seem like overkill to me. I think I prefer the other theory as put forward by @djhotspur

This is the guy that stays on with Mason after Conte’s trophy-laden spell ends, having learned all the tricks in the book from Conte and his staff, who appear to have some the best fitness/motivational methods around.

Presumably our U23 and U18 squads have to have conditioning too.

That's a lot of footballers to keep track of.

It may be that previously the youth sides had general fitness coaches, but people in the club now think it would be optimal to have a more focused approach on their conditioning?

Who knows?

Mate at Boro said he's a rehab specialist. Excellent at individual strength & conditioning programs to help injured players with their recovery. Woodgate was a big fan. Could be busy with Ryan Sessegnon straight off!!
