Huge HUGE red flag that the end of a manager is near when the fans unanimously start to notice obvious things yet the manager does nothing about it. 343 doesn't suit our squad. Eric Dier is a complete brainless footballer. Son should be benched. Late subs kills games. Happened with Poch and Jose, and now Conte. You just know his time here is ending soon
The common issue here is the players though. Those are great managers but they don't know how to make it work with certain players here. People talk as if the managers lose it when they are here. Reality is that they can't find a formula because there is no formula until we replace these same players that have stunk the club out for too long. It does kind of feel like the end is coming yet again but it will just lead to another manager with another system that has the same problem players who make a mess of it.

Kjaer fouled Kane constantly, and the ref did absolutely nothing about it. He should have been yellow carded after 25 mins. The amount of times we had an attack, with space and they just brought us down was a joke. Dier did one pressing foul and got yellow carded.
That drove me fucking mental.
The players needed to be all over the ref for that from the first whistle, it was obvious what he was going to do and the ref just let him fucking do it, over and over again.

I saw one particular foul on Richy when we were in a good position that went unpunished and a few moves later the same type of foul was awarded to Milan.

Somehow under a hardline coach our team has become timid, expressionless and has no entertainment value at all. I’ll be there on Sunday but it’s becoming a chore - that’s not why I love Spurs and football.

Same. I was getting so so wound up. It was like England France at the World Cup, it just kills your attacking momentum constantly if refs let you get away with it

The bit that pissed me off was our players just shrugging it off over and over again.
Make the point to the ref, and keep making it, if he books one of ours then the next player steps up and makes the point.

It’s not working. Simple as that. We’ve progressively got worse despite improving the squad.

The biggest squad gaps are definitely still here but that needs addressing regardless of Manager.

All I know is that I don’t enjoy watching us. I know exactly how every game is going to go and our Manager is constantly distancing himself from any notion that he wants to be here

I think Levy won't sack him until we are out of the FA Cup - and if we make the FA Cup Final that will be his final game win or lose.

Over the last three years we have gone down a route of going for one dimensional players to play systems rather than football. In a Conte side there is no room for doing anything except exactly what he says. So we don’t see forward’s interchanging like they used to. We don’t want players with flair as they will often be unpredictable. We use methods that can work maybe in Italy or at lower levels but will not cut it in the PL.

We are utterly predictable. Yet many people are calling for the club to go further down this route and ditching everything to appease Conte. They want even more of the same garbage!!!

We don't even play basic one two's any more the football fundamentals and these clowns want to give this guy more money. Its just shows the what mindset is of these warped individuals.

I'm back to thinking this. How long can he live off two great signings from his old club? We had one defender unavailable on the weekend and started with Davies, Dier and Tanganga. How the fuck is this acceptable. Conte's inflexibility combined with being made to work with third rate players is a disaster.
Sarr literally just showed how good a signing he is. Romero is our best centre back. Emerson has proven to be a quality defender. The signings under Paratici have been overall good. We just need more particularly in defence.

We can always point to the players because, at the end of the day, they are the ones on the pitch. But it’s the same players as when? We have signed loads of players under Mourinho/Nuno/Conte- enough easily to fill two teams. A lot of those players haven’t made the grade and have been moved on or Conte refuses to play regularly in favour of using the 'same players' e.g. Son instead of Richarlison. But it doesn't mean Conte has the same group as previously and that's why things are going wrong. For example:

DL/WLB: Reguilon (28m) /Perisic (free)
DR/WRB: Doherty (15m)/Emerson (25m)/Porro (39m)
CB: Romero(42.5m)/Rodon (11m) /Lenglet (lo)
CM: Hobjerg (15m) /Bentancur (16m)/Bissouma (35m)/Sarr (14.6m)
FWD: Kulusevski (30m) /Richarlison (60m)/Bergwijn (27m)/Danjuma (30m)

That's nearly 400 million pounds worth of new players.

The players I have bolded have been here for 18 months or less.

You could say Conte has paid for himself by getting us in the champ lge with a team nowhere near good enough really. We have not looked great right through the group stage. It is now down to a big charge in the home leg hoping we can get through.
i remember Mourinho saying he couldn’t coach some of our lot as they kept repeating their mistakes.
Its rubbing off on Romero as he is dropping down a level playing with this lot.

Yes although it looks like we spent well over 100 million quid this summer on players Conte either doesn't rate or doesn't think are ready. Those players may still come good for the club but it could be too late for Conte.

yep, you too would look shit if we gave you a bicycle to race against an F1 car ....the biggest fraud at THFC is Daniel Levy. Conte should walk & keep his rep - he could likely take any job in world football & deliver them a title. As for spurs - downhill fast, I can't see us finishing top 6 this season - not with so many injuries & players off form / lacking confidence. I've said it before and I will say it again - DL could appoint Pep / Ancelotti / Fergie - with his shylock ways and refusal to improve the first team none of those coaches would ever achieve more than 4th

When is that short bald twat gonna leave? Till then - nothing will change

There is no excuse for my use of that word and I am truly sorry to everyone I have offended - in a time where emotions are high and all of us are feeling frustrated it is still poor judgement to use that term in a community like this. I offer no excuses for my poor judgement or disrespect to fellow community members - I should've known better and I will do better going forward. I sincerely apologise and hope you can forgive my error in judgement

It's getting there but we still have Lloris, Dier and Davies in the starting team. Sanchez and Tanganga on standby. Lenglet is a really poor defender too. Those are all in the same area of the pitch. Back when we had Vertonghen and Alderweireld with peak Lloris we could do well with someone like Sanchez because he had quality around him. Now it's like the flip of that where we have 1 quality (Romero) surrounded by 3 really poor. Until that key area of the pitch is sorted we will suffer regardless of manager or system etc. Everything builds from the back, goals conceded impacts the confidence in the team and having doubts about the defence psychologically makes it difficult to open up and attack. No top team succeeds with a defence this poor.

When people say we have players who have stunk the place out for too long, the only two players they're really thinking of are Dier and Davies. And maybe also Sanchez.

For most of the rest of the squad, that simply isn't the case, as you show.
