Towards the end, states that Madrid are offering Granero in a part exchange to move along the Modric deal, but Granero is hesitant to move. Granero + 25-30 mil would be great value if we could pull it off IMO. Wonder if this link is actually true.

Not a fan of Granero, id prefer us to get cash only. Only player I wouldve taken was Sahin but they've loaned him to the Red Scouse.

I've always rated Granero but not sure if he'd be quite good enough to walk into our squad and I'm not sure he'd be up for being just a squad player.

Aha, I thought as much ! Or at least, guessed as much that they might offer us Granero as make weight for rat boy, in the ITK thread a week or so back. I think he's an underrated little player and if he could be got for at a good price, I think he could be a very useful cog in our squad. Classy player
