Spurs 2nd lowest net spend with 7.1 mil spent since 2012-13. Good to see it in writing & not just speculated on here by would be accountants ..

Not sure whats funnier. Arsenal having a net spend of over £200m and never winning the title in that span or West Ham having an absurd net spend yet can barely squeak in the EL. Of course, Utd and City only winning once each despite the combined nearly £850m net spend is pretty funny its self.

Oh and Liverpool has got a lot to answer for as well. Spend so much, act so big, can only make CL once which is coincidentally the only time they've finished above 6th.

And with Swansea having just given us some cash for Tiny Tom Carroll it means we have probably swapped places now, and are now bottom of the net spend league.
Have never seen this highlighted in the media though as it goes against the grain of the established story they like to put out - big spending but under achieving Spurs, wasted the Bale money etc vs tight fisted Wenger, under pressure from the Arse faithful to loosen the purse strings and put them back to the top of the tree, and its the only thing holding them back.....

We don't spend more than we have, we aren't a rich mans play thing (well we are owned by one, but he's tight as). We maintain a squad of young players including lots of Englishmen, most of whom also aren't on the excessive wages of other clubs (even those at tiny teams like West Ham). We're building a brand new stadium without ripping off the taxpayer, that appears to take notice of fan concerns about noise and atmosphere that have troubled other new grounds. We're competing against the financially doped clubs and moreover doing it playing mainly good passing and attacking football. We'll usually do something stupid for other fans to have a chuckle about at some point during the season. And our manager is an absolute gent.

Given all that above should really be seen as a good thing for English football nowadays, I guess everyone hates us so much still because of our fans
