Right, following on from yesterday's goalkeepers thread, this is the first of three defender threads I'll post today. I'll work out the result in three days.

Same as with the GKs, name your best 5 England RBs in order of preference.

And again, for the record, mine are:

1) Kyle Walker
2) Micah Richards
3) Phil Jones
4) Glen Johnson

Walker, Richards, Jones, Simpson, Smalling. In that order.

It's a joke that Johnson was even considered. Talentless.

1) Walker.
2) Richards.
3) Nathanial Clyne.
4) Danny Simpson.
5) Kyle Naughton.

I don't think Jones is any good at right back and I think Glen Johnson is abysmal. Clyne is a beast but as he's in the Championship (will change this summer) he doesn't get the recognition he should.

1. Richards
2. Walker
3. Jones
4. Naughton
5. Johnson

Oh and I suggest you open a LB and CB thread at the same time, most people will just answer all three threads and not much need to only do one a day.

1. Richards
2. Walker
3. Jones
4. Smalling
5. Probably Naughton. Not seen enough of Kelly or Clyne, Simpson seems decent enough. Johnson is gash. I'd probably pick Adam Smith ahead of Glen Johnson.

for me the best RB, a toss up between Richards & Walker.

I think Richards is a better defender, Walker is a more attacking threat.

so...

1. Richards (to complement Cashley who loves to get forward)
2. Walker
3. Johnson
4. Taylor
5. Martin

3) Chris Smalling
4) Phil Jones
5) Danny Simpson

Glen Johnson is not in my Top 5 that's for certain.. Naughton not in the list, he looks vulnerable with wingers running at him.

I don't know how Kelly got picked ahead of Simpson, there are others too.

How ridiculous is it that about 90% have Richards as one or two! And he still isn't going? That is a very poor decision by woy
