Think Ade is being overgraded as a B.
His report should read -
Mr Adebayor can be very influential both on and off the pitch but he needs to ensure his energies are directed in the right direction.
when he turns up and puts in effort, his work is of a very high level - and for this his mark would be a B+.
Unfortunately, he has not been ever present. Disagreements with superiors meant time on the sidelines, and he needs to understand that he is not bigger than the club. For this period his mark is D-.
His overall mark for the season is thus a C. He is potentially an A Grade student but as to whether he ever achieves this, after having similar reports from other schools, is very much down to Mr Adebayor himself.
