I don't think it's off by any means but I would say a large influx of cash makes this slightly less likely than it might have been before that.

No logical reason to think that, just pessimism - clubs sell multi players all the time (Man City selling a crazy amount of top class players this summer as an example, Chelsea selling Mount, Havertz, Kovacic etc)
