Just had to put this up.

So proud of my home town team, top of the league until last Friday and played the league leaders Cork CIty tonight at home.

Won the game 2-0 and the support was amazing. Going to try and put vid and pics tomorrow as wrecked now.

Cork have had an unbelievable season nonetheless, to get promoted last season and come so close to winning the League this year is an amazing achievement.

So yeah...fuck Dundalk.

They had the chance last night but resorted to constant fouling, trying to hold out for the draw. Lucky not to be down to ten after 5 seconds.

Nothing could dampen Friday night. It was a great advertisement for the League of Ireland, two sets of fans never stopped singing and the title going down to the last few minutes.

Still suffering from a sore throat.

By the way Dundalk play a 4-2-3-1/4-1-4-1 and Patrick Hoborn could give Ade a lesson in how to play up front in this formation. Never, ever stops making himself available, getting the ball giving it off and moving into space. 20 league goals, brilliant.

Oh and a bit of a fairytale ending too. Club captain Stephen O'Donnel suffered a bad knee injury in April, thought his season was over, played a couple of sub appearances in the previous two games, then captained the team on Friday, and scored the first, crucial goal.

Schoolboys own stuff!!!!!
