Di marzio saying Atletico move away from vlahovic

Also says this in the article
"Vlahovic, however, also likes Tottenham who would offer more or less the same amount that he had presented to Inter for Lautaro Martinez. If the courtship of the Spurs were to be successful, Fiorentina could set their sights on Gianluca Scamacca , a forward owned by Sassuolo."

The first part says

After Atletico Madrid's latest offer for Dusan Vlahovic, the parties still seem to be far apart: 60 million (including bonuses) are not enough for the Serbian striker. Commisso and Fiorentina hope to keep the player, but the high demands of the Viola and the agent for the transfer are increasingly distancing the Spanish club.

Risky prediction, if Kane go to City and we land Vlahovic. This season is the only one that City have the superior striker. Build for the future. Think he have the potential to be just as good as Kane, and he has the youth and fitness that peak Kane had.

So is that saying we are willing to offer the same amount for Vlahovic as we are offering for Martinez?

What is this mysterious figure?

Got me all confused

I know every one says this seem positive but what about it does? That we hold an interest?

Nothing seems to be happening with it

The part where Vlahovic himself likes spurs is the important part to me.

I have noticed that in these stages of the transfer deal journos always over exaggerate the fee. When it gets done it's never as high as they say.

I wonder how much he wants to make the deal happen?

That's excellent. I'd pay big money for this guy over Martinez, especially if Martinez isn't available for under £75m as reported.

Atletico backing off is good news though, takes the pressure off us a bit as it should mean we have enough time to sort the Kane stuff and still have Vlahovic on the table. I was getting worried that Atletico would strike whilst we were still haggling over Kane and we'd be left fucked again.

Really like this guy and Paratici rates him very highly. I'm not saying it's a given, but if Harry goes, I would be 99% sure this guy would come. It's not even out of the equation for the right price that he came to play alongside him if Harry didn't get his move.

I've now more than happy for Harry to move on after his disrespectful actions so the best outcome today is we beat them whilst keeping them at bay, they realise they desperately need Harry and succumb to our demands. We then have a couple of weeks to bring in 4/5 top class additions.

The same amount as Atletico bid (60m euro including bonuses) I translated the top part of the article further up

Feels like the number they want is really high, especially since they seemingly want to put a 70m release clause in his new contact. Not sure how a player with a season left on their deal can be sold for near enough the buyout clause in their new contact?

He's got more than a season left, the new contract with the buyout clause would just be to give them security this summer (similar to if we did it with Kane I guess)

That 70m is probably fair if attatched to a new 5 year deal and he continues to perform. Right now he would be bought for far less than that i imagine. £55m?

Im fairly sure we would buy him if kane leaves, i just want it to happen sooner ffs.

If the figure originally touted about was 50m and then a bid came in for 60m I would suggest that a release clause of just 70m was simply a way of forcing the sale through at that level. A figure of say 90m would better indicate their desire to keep him.

What worries me is we had lots of ITK that we want one CF (most likely Vlahovic) and one more if Harry goes. It's safe to say Kane leaving is at least very likely - who's going to be the second striker if we don't get Lautaro? There is no other links to strikers at all.
