Can anyone honestly imagine Berbatov lasting more than 10 minutes in a Poch training session

I think if we could afford a player in one position who didn't need to run like a dog for 90 mins it would be a striker.

If this was midfield I'd completely agree but I reckon he could do a job off the bench.

A "social visit"........ I take it he's checked that Levy's out of town for the day.

I'm not foaming at the mouth about him leaving any more but quite simply put he wouldn't be at our level and I don't think he has anything to offer now. If anyone out there thought he was in the right condition for the premier league they would of moved on him. Sunderland, Palace, Hull etc would of moved if they thought he could do the job and they seemingly haven't. Can't see any world where he fits with what we are doing.

So you wouldn't want Bale back if he wanted the move?

Bit different though, bale is in his 20s and a monster of an athlete

Berbatov is in his late 30s could only manage 4 goals in his season in Greece and probably spends his time smoking and drinking wine in a jacuzzi

Do not want

Negative rep away all you like but would take a 36 year old Berbatov as our back up striker over Jansen any day of the week. I actually think Berbatov would still be more dangerous in front of goal than what we have seen of Vinny at the moment.

wouldn't mind him giving Son a bit of 121 training on ball control/first touch

Which is exactly my point.
Im talking about one of the top 5/10 players in the world for Christ sake, I'd physically carry him from Madrid if it would happen.
i find it laughable that taking Bale back was dismissed on here just because he forced a move.
