I can't believe you guys wouldn't have him back.

Well, you can believe it. We have a great young squad of seemingly down to earth guys. Everything seems rosy and harmonious with a great future ahead of us. I don't want that disrupted by some big ego player. Most would want him back of course, I personally wouldn't.

If Bale came back and worked hard in the 3 off Kane he'd be awesome, but if he flounced around and shunned it like a primadonna he'd be awful.

Is Bale a big ego player? and if so it hasnt fared him too well. I think most footballers have a big ego, its what you need to a certain extent to be a very good player

Since when has Bale had a big ego? Whenever yo read things about him from people who have worked with him, they all say he is hard working and focused, which is great to have around our young squad. I have never read a bad word against him.

Kane and Bale would be unstoppable IMO. Doubt it could happen, cos he won't be leaving Madrid before 2019, but then again in football you never know.

Also, if say United bid £120mill or something stupid like that and we decline to match that offer, Real will have to pay us £10million. Have to say Levy's done well by introducing measures that will make it much harder for a Pl club to buy Bale.

That clause ended last summer (Sept 2015).

A player like Bale could be the missing piece of Poch's puzzle. It's not going to happen of course but I'd take him back in a heart beat.

Nope, that clause comes under the whole Pl club bid for Bale by July 2019 addition.
I think you should read it again.
11. IN the event that TOTTENHAM chooses not to exercise the right to acquire the Player's registration pursuant to clause 10 above and REAL MADRID should subsequently transfer the Player's rights to a Premier League Club prior to September 1, 2015, REAL MADRID shall pay to TOTTENHAM the sum of 10 Million Pounds Sterling immediately upon such transfer.

I think the people who say he's a big ego have had their brains done in by him being teammates with most egotistical **** in football. Bale is not a "big ego" by any means. And he's also one of the best players in the world. If we still had Bale on this team, we'd be running away with the title.
