I think moose deserves a 3 game ban for violent
Conduct, what I don't understand how what he did
Is deemed more violent and worthy of a longer ban
Than felaini's double elbow swipe on huth.

Mind you it's a scratch not a gouge

Hasn't Dembele done something like that before or am I going mad ?

10 game ban would be ridiculous. DIdnt suarez get that for his first feasting on the chelsea player? They have to look at the context as well. Dembele's actions are undefendable, but there was a melee and the ref let the game get out of hand.

I really don't think he actually hurt costa, Costa grabbed the wrong eye then his face.

i read an article suggesting that we would still have him for the Southampton game and that any ban would start with Newcastle away ,,,is that true ?

I only ask as we desperately need to get 3 more points this season to secure 2nd place and finishing above Arse, and we need him for that game IMO

just seen that youtube clip. You wonder what they were talking about during each gathering. 1 scene terry is holding off walker from that spanish full back. Next seen walker and terry are at it. IMO that video put us in a bad light in terms of the reckless tackles we made, but they made a big deal over every one of them.

Must say i did like that lamela/fibreglass scene. I mean, lamela isnt the manliest of men, but he made cesc look like a little whiny b1tch over that incident. No doubt cesc's kids got some abuse for that.

And lastly, think someone mentioned it, but its times like that i prefer to have an outfield captain. Lloris is so quick off his line, but no where to be seen. Based on the video Kane was doing alot of the mediating.

Let's hope the loss of Dembele doesn't mess up the start of next season for us, because we're not the same team without him.

He will be missed yeah, but we are still a very good team without him, we won 3 league games in a row in september when he was out injured, a 4-1 win over Man City included. But lets hope its 5-6 games at a max.

Hopefully we'll buy another powerful midfielder we supposedly want before then, but I'm not too optimistic abut that happening.

give me a break. If Dembele gets a ban and we get a fine, Clatterberg should have his license revoked. if anyone failed at controlling that game it had to be the officials.

Don't know if this photo has been posted but this could really help Dembele get away with it. The linesman saw it happen straight in front of him.

The more I see this the more I'm convinced it wasn't a gouge or even a scrape... Dumb move of course and worthy of a ban for raising his hands but it's a reaction out of frustration. Not condoning it and have no problem with a 3 match ban but why the fuck has not one media outlet mentioned that Costa has a hold of Dembele's shirt and possibly the nipping the skin on his back?

Linesman is one thing, but look
how close Clattenburg himself was.
If I were to guess, I'd say that by that point, the team of refs knew they had lost control of the game, and knew that there were so many long strings of intertwined events and implicated players that they deliberately chose not to ban Dembele because, well, it would seem a bit ignorant to only deal with that one single incident. So what Dembele is at fault for more than other players is being caught on cam and subsequently the victim for a media witch hunt.
