Amazing how harshly Dele is judged. Maybe it's because he set such a high standard a few years back. He's a goal threat when we don't have many of those (would have had an easy tap in of Bergwijn hadnt crossed behind him) and he's putting in a real defensive shift in the meantime.

He looked sharp yesterday and against City, let's see how he looks after a good run of games.

Depends on what you're expecting though isn't it?

He still doesn't move the ball quick enough for me in attack and is never going to be able to control a midfield, having said that he's contributing massively defensively and his engine is really important and has been a massive reason why we've been able to see out these two matches, he has stepped up which cannot be denied.

I've been really impressed by him of late. He putting in a proper shift every game and has cut out a lot of the showboating that wasn't contributing anything much. Defensively he's like a completely different player and now looks capable of holding down a midfield role. He'll also continue to ghost into scoring positions from deeper. I'm really hopeful he can re-establish himself in the team whereas a year ago I'd have happily seen him sold.
