He may offer the prospect of more goals, but did you some of the tackling movement and passing last night by Tanguy? The guy is amazing. If anyone is losing their place to accommodate Dele, no way should it be him.

But he doesn’t produce goals or assists. Playing him deeper doesn’t work either as he gives the ball away a lot or takes too much risk on it (and I wouldn’t want to take that away from him). He’s actually quite a problem as I don’t think he can play in a midfield two.

Could he play interchenging with Kane? Seeing as Kane drops deep to receive the ball and had the passing range to find a runner in the box it could be lethal especially if Dele can find the sort of form he had when he scored 20 or so in 16/17. The timing of his runs on to a lot of Eriksens crosses was excellent.

I've thought of that all season, Dele in front. But you don't usually see him pinging accurate long balls like Kane, and I'm not sure how he'd do up front on his own. Would be interested in seeing it though.

kind of shocking he cant minutes in a game like yesterday. I think Carlos is going to be a good back up striker but FFS he has yet to score in the prem. Dele has loads of prem goals. I know who Id put my money on.

I totally agree, but to be fair to Vinicius he's only played 24 minutes of premier league football this year... 24 is fucking insane. We've played 16 games!

@Vinny_Sammways_left_peg seems to enjoy reporting anyone who engages in a debate with the Jose fan boy.

Question to the mods does reporting someone result in an instant ban from said thred? I’m now banned from the Poch thread because what? I’m sticking up for him! You’ve got people in there being outright ungrateful and I get banned?

Well obviously we aren’t going to score everytime we win possession of the ball. BUT if the course attack is not on the rule from our team is simple. Any player that has a choice a risky pass forward or a safe pass backward will choose the safe pass because Jose berates players if they lose the ball. Hence why we end up going backwards just for Dier to hoof it long.

Poch was the opposite, he encouraged being brave he wanted our players to try things and wether he won it or not we enjoyed 2 league challenges and a champions league final.

Each to there own but I wouldn’t swap any of those seasons for a league cup win. Because while the league cup final is a great day out I way football for 9 months of the year not to be bored to death.

Shit housing our way to a league cup win including a bye in the first round is not something to celebrate
You're @ me while in the Dele thread.

The claim I reported you anytime before today and got you banned from anywhere is false.

To try and answer some of this - yep Dier does indeed have distribution problems and does hoof it long, that's undeniable. He's no Toby.
Again, we haven't scored many goals from long balls this season. Our attacking play doesn't rely on that.

The champions league final - we shit housed our way to that, with a long ball, funnily enough, to win the semi. It was less brave and more crazy gang.

I have no issue winning a cup in whatever manner it comes to us. I mean, how can any fan be choosey if you want to win things and the stick from previous years is both manager (Poch) needs to win things and players will leave if we don't win things ... ?

It's fine if you don't want us winning things, I find that odd, but okay.

Dele. ——— Kane ——— Son

everyone else has had a go on the right wing why not Dele

Also extra height at defensive set pieces so should appeal to Jose

At the mo, his stock is as low as it's been since he joined us. A loan to PSG is good for all, hopefully he'll show some form and get his confidence back and either come back fighting for a place, or raise his asking price up to what it was a few years ago when he was at his best.

If he's not gonna get a look in, no point sitting on the bench is it. And I'm sure his wages aren't low. Could give us the chance for a loan in?

Might have something to do with the fact he's been poor for a couple of years, is a lazy f**ker in training and Mourinho rates others to do a job ahead of him...

Like Sissoko? Lucas? Winks?

Jose calling him lazy on a documentary is scandalous. It’s given people a stick to beat him with and IMO is nothing more than bullying which Jose has a track record for
