And has got Raiola as an agent, who will be whoring him out and then putting clauses all over the deal.

We need to wise up, as a club, that signing players like Reguillion, Haaland, or Donnarumma with clauses that vastly limit the profit or retainability of a player may still be a worthwhile risk for the impact they could have - even if just one season.

Apologies for veering the thread off, though.

Why would PSG replace Keylor Navas with Hugo? Wouldn’t make sense.

Hugo Lloris is a quality goalkeeper for one.

He would have respect in the dressing room - national team captain.

He is a known leader in the dressing room who strives to work towards the managers wishes and plans.

He and Poch had huge amounts of respect for each other

I unfortunately think that this move would be great for all 3 parties (not Tottenham - obvs)

PSG: Get world class keeper who is respected and popular in France
Lloris: Plays CL football and wins trophies at the biggest club in his homeland before his career comes to an end.
Poch: Gets a player he trusts and that will work with his plans while also having respect of big French stars (Mbappe etc) making it easier to implement new, tough ideas.

Spurs: Left in the shitter with shouty Joe.

It's never going to happen but if we sold Lloris and announced Joe Hart as our new number 1 keeper I think I would give up for that season rather than suffer the pain of watching it. Not gonna get many agrees but Hart is the worst keeper we've had in the last 10 years. No redeeming features right now other than being home grown.

Vorm was worse IMO, especially when you include the fact he took up a non-HG spot.

You reckon? Joe Hart nearly got beat from 35 yards by a non leaguer. He let in multiple shots from outside the box against a team or European builders and generally can't save anything shot from outside the box.

Towards the end Vorm wasn't great on crosses but Hart is probably the worst keeper in the league including the new sheffield utd keeper who's terrible.

Yep, he’s really come on this season. Should be England’s number one, but he won’t be that until he leaves Burnley.
Every time I've watched him he's been head and shoulders above Henderson. He has that David Seaman quality of appearing calm and assured.

While I think Hugo has a good couple of years left in him, I wouldn’t want to miss out on Pope should he decide to leave Burnley this summer. Quite a hard one to make a decision on.

Hugo over Pope still. Pope is extremely good but Hugo is probably top 4 or in the world.

Simple, if PSG come in, say we want Keylor Navas as part of the deal, they are the same age and knowing PSG they will probably give us 60m and KN,

If Lloris wants to go and as his contract is running down, this would make all the sense in the world. Yes we lose a great goalkeeper, but we get a chunk of cash and arguably a goalkeeper on a similar level.

Dean Henderson would be expensive and has only done well at a poor side, I would say that is a huge risk.

*In no way do I want Hugo to leave, I do not think Navas is better, but if we have to, this is the way to go about it.

If Hugo actually wants to leave this summer we need to go all in for Nick Pope. United wouldn’t sell us Henderson anyways.

Would rather Nick Pope if we had to get an English keeper.
He’s the best English keeper IMO. Henderson is up there too. Pickford is atrocious yet is your #1 and that will be your downfall in the Euros, if they actually happen.
