I don't necessarily buy into the 'we should have got Cahill' line, especially if Bolton were messing us around, but this injury puts us into the situation we've been worrying about for a while. With King and Gallas being unreliable, we really needed to secure an upgrade on Bassong over the summer, and we had ample time to sort it out.
