Just wondering if anyone has attended any of the previous induction dinners for our hall of fame?

My aunty has very genrously got me and my brothers tickets to attend David Ginola's induction in December and I was wondering if anyone could tell me what its like? Can you get plenty of pics and are there other Spurs personalities in attendance?

Thanks

I have been to a fair few of these events and have not had a bad one, normally the likes of martin chivers, ralph coates, paul allen, steve sedgely, pat jennings, martin peters, cliff jones, gary mabbut, other players already in the HOF, hoddle etc sometimes attend, usually some current players attend, depending on match and other club committments - there is plenty of opportunity to have photos done and chat with past and present players including the man of the moment Mr Ginola.

hope you have a good time.

Great player and a true gentleman. Another greast ambasador to the sport. If only Christiano Ronaldo had half his class, he'd be much better regarded in this sport.

Congratulations JTY, hope you have a good time

I've sent off for tickets too. First one of these I've been to. Used to love the old dinner and dances when you could meet all the players.

I used to love these too - I have a lovely photo somewhere of me sitting on Ricky Villa's lap! The players were so much more accessible in those days  (not in a kiss and tell sort of way )- and one time we all went on to a club with them - somewhere up Tottenham High Road - not the Royal but a smaller place.

I am going to the Ginola dinner - it would be nice to say hi to any other SCers there.

You just phone up the club - speak to the functions department and make your payment by card. They email you a form to complete (they asked for my card details to be emailed back but I did it by phone which I think is better security wise) they publicised it on their website and there was a thread on Spurs chat when it was first launched. It's certainly not cheap but it's my Christmas present and of course 'he's worth it'. Have you checked that they haven't still got tickets available?

Whilst Ginola was a class player, one i loved watching during his time at the lane. But one question, does he really deserve the Hall Of Fame induction, after what three seasons, and nothin major to note.

Surely Robbie Keane, should be included down the road as well.

You have a point. And can you believe Anderton played over 100 more games for us than Keano did despite being Mr Sicknote?

Gotta be said though Daveed was silky as hell and wonderful to watch. Just checking on youtube makes me realise how many good moments he gave us

You should go on The Price is Right if it's ever resurrected! Did you have any luck? I saw it advertised in the programme today so hopefully they were still selling tickets.

Three seasons seems like serious longevity at the moment, and he'd have stayed another season or two if it hadn't been for that **** Gooner George. The fact we won only one trophy in his time is hardly his fault.
