One by one, the Double team players are leaving us and every time I know that one of them is under the weather (all into their 70s now), my heart grows heavy. I know that Dave's memory has been fading of late, which is so very sad.

He was a lion on the pitch and a lamb off the pitch and I have some wonderful personal memories of him.

I'm thinking of him and hope he comes through this okay.
