I'm not saying this is any more reliable than others out there. And there are many. The point is they all reflect a dis-parity between our 4 or 5 top earners and those much lower down the scale. There are very few in between. And that is the point I argued about when you earlier said we have a pretty level playing field as far as wages go. Clearly we don't.
This is what I was referring to prior to the article. Although, if he's told the Sun he's on £65k then that's the most accurate figure! Maybe £30k was start of last season

I said 'more level', stop twisting my words mate....West Ham have players in their first team squad on £3.5kpw, we don't, our lowest earners are on £20kpw, thats how they can afford to spunk £140kpw on Chikirito.

First post for a long time so be gentle.
Rose has let everyone down but I think there's a way back for him. When on form he's the best LB in England by far.
Punish him (as they have). Don't sell him, whatever the pressure Man U exert.
Get him fit then get him on the bench. Hopefully he see's new players coming in and gets his head down and works hard.
Give him a loyalty bonus to stay until next summer based on appearances. Next summer - new deal for him or sell him on.
Win win for everyone surely?

Seems Rose has issued a grovelling apology.... maybe he read this post

Too little, too late.

Will still cheer him as he's in a Spurs shirt but he has done irrevocable damage to his reputation with the fans and no doubt with the player and coaching staff.

Clearly no one wanted him so he's come crawling back in a half-hearted manner.

Wonder if this apology is related to the £130k fine Spurs want give him?
All well and good him saying main reason for his interview and musings were: fans’ criticism, chairman’s dealing, club ambition etc.
But as people have said before me, Danny Rose did this interview to benefit Danny Rose. No bones about it.

Maybe he just found out Man Utd are not interested in taking him, and THFC don't do business with Chelsea.
Maybe he checked out where Chelsea is on Google Maps... not up North
