i think the top 4 are nailed on as Chelsea, Man City, Arse**l and Liverpool.

we might end up quite close and i certainly don't expect an 11 point gap, but realistically, our battle is probably with Everton and Manchester United for 5th. (and even then, i'm being kind to Manchester United by including them with us).

Sometimes is difficult to know where to start with us a couple of seasons ago we missed out on fourth cos Chelsea won the big one.
But in reality we should have nailed third as we were thirteen points clear but as usual the jelly spine mentality occurred again and we blew it again.
As you say Liverpool have come back but that was always going to happen I feel we have helped their progress a bit too easily imo I don't think we can attribute anything on bad luck in all honesty and as for a top six team yes we are but why do we have to keep excepting it all the time.
At some point Levy and enic cannot keep hiding and one day soon they will have to decide to stay or go.

Tbf I think we are objectively one of the unluckiest teams in the world in the last 5 years.

Lasagne gate

Bluescum winning the CL

Highest points total not to make CL last season (I think)

I dont really know what Levy and ENIC have done wrong tbh. Its easy to look at city and the bigger clubs than us and say 'why not us?' but there are a lot more clubs below us who would love to be in our position; having seen the majesty of Bale playing week in week out, signing the likes of Soldado and Lamela.

The vast majority of clubs dont win anything and are just embroiled in the hum drum of lower league football. Thankfully we are big enough to watch quality football and be in the mix to win things every year. We should be thankful for it.

With 2 points between 4th & 6th and Utd only 3 points further back how on earth can the top 4 be nailed on?

I think the top 3 are now looking likely as Arsenal are playing well and the other 2 have the best squads, but top 4 no chance, there's everything to play for there.

Well it's all about opinions I suppose but I don't see us as unlucky more that it was in our hands but we wasted all these opportunities failure in the eyes of some.
I'm not sure we are in the mix for anything generally as again this season out the cup in the third round and couldn't beat a poor West Ham team in another so no change there.
I suppose I'm looking for more than we are ever likely to achieve in all honesty which is why I get so pissed off on here I still hope that one day we could actually challenge or win the league.
I don't believe any of this is possible under the current board so I will have to wait a lot longer I feel and for this new stadium whenever or if ever this occurs.

He maybe waiting for the usual spurs implosion somewhere down the line to fuck it all up I actually agree with him as I think we are destined for sixth or seventh.

Yeah kind of know those feels.

I have made peace with them thusly: I will always support spurs regardless, whether we win the league every year or if we get relegated from the Bluesquare premier. In that light it doesnt really matter how we do per se, the result will still be me supporting spurs so I just try to enjoy the ride.

The only gripe I have is when we play dull shit football so I was not particularly happy with AVB this season but other than that Im pretty easy going and supportive I think.

Opinions are all well and good but to say the top 4 are nailed on when it's so tight doesn't make any sense.

We play Citeh, Everton, Chelsea, Arsenal, Liverpool in those 17 games.

But 17 games is almost an entire half of a season, so of course we're going to have to play them all. In fact we're the only team to have played one of the big boys in the second half of the season (beating Man U), so we have a slightly less difficult run of games to come. (ignoring home and away - we're better away anyway!)

Hmmm not sure but they obviously love West Ham and hate Newcastle, Newcadtle will be an incredibly tough place to go but the amount of points just given to the top 7 away to Newcastle is ridiculous. City beat them but 2bh they were battered the entire game and fluked out with the goal Newcastle got ruled out.

Also, West Ham who have been comically hopeless appear to regularly be taking points off the top 7!

I think Southampton seem to be credited with being a tougher opponent than they will prove to be, theyve fallen away form-wise recently anyway but have also just pressed the self destruct button too on top of that

Also, Liverpool appear to win allof their games versus other top 7 sides. In games that evenly matched the balance of probabilities makes that highly unlikely. If anything Liverpool's form versus other top half teams this season has been mostly dissapointing.
