It's noticeable too, I'm glad he's reigned it in a bit, but it's good to know everyone's aware that Romero has the ability to be a bit agricultural and plough some turf. He's got that in his locker, strikers know that, so it'll always be in the back of their mind when the glance up and see Farmer Romero bearing down on them at full steam.

We'll just have to see how things pan out in games that get a bit feisty. He's got a pretty short fuse when the heat gets turned up and that will be the acid test for him. Hopefully he can keep a lid on it.

He is so good at jockeying when a forward is dribbling towards him, he waits and waits for the slightest heavy touch then steps in. It’s one of his biggest strengths and he doesn’t need the rashness/overly aggressiveness.

Well I'd be loving my job too if I got 3 weeks off every time I was naughty

Only Joking Cristian, you're doing well sir, keep it up (gently)

Before that match I'm not sure he'd given a single foul away.
Definitely went at least 4/5 games without one foul.

I think it's easy to spot when he fouls someone - the floodlights at the lane give their soul a shimmer as it leaves their body. He doesn't commit fouls, he commits felonies. He's never savaged anyone is the same as saying he never left a surviving witness. He's saving his energy to send Cash into the shadow realm...

sorry, I could do this all day lol.

Presumably the Chelsea game was part of what instigated changes to his style, rather than being a blip.

He was clean as a whistle before Chelsea which was different from the previous season. I just think he got a bit wound up and let it get to him. I don't think it was the worst red card but he's got himself a reputation for going in hard so his card is already marked.

He'd already been very "petulant" in an earlier incident during that game.

Okay, I'll strim it down to a couple of hours...

Romero's water bottle contains nails. Romero doesn't own a microwave or an oven because revenge is a dish best served cold. Romero's main export is regret.

Death once had a near-Romero-experience.
