Am I Crazy in thinking he would be a good signing?
I hate the guy and never wanted us to sign him when he was leaving West Ham, I was in turn delighted to sign Keano!
But Bellamy at City has been good you cannot doubt that fact.

I think he would be a good player for us, yes he is a thug but he loves to win and works hard.

Now Bellamy has had a 'row' with Mancini i think he could be up for grabs in the summer.

When I heard Harry was thinking of signing him in January 2009 I was very disappointed, I trust Harry's judgement more than my own but I didn't want us to sign him.

He's been excellent for City and has really upped his game. The argument with Mancini appears to be about training. Bellamy has had problems with his knee but had no problems since teaming up with Hughes who is known to be very methodical regarding training. Mancini appears to want to tell Bellamy to try a different training method and I can see why Bellamy would be reluctant to do this. It's easy to call Bellamy a trouble maker but in this scenario I'm not convinced he is.

He's certainly an option I'd like us to consider if available.

i was disapointed at the reaction the possible transfer got last time we were in for him as i think he would be ideal for what we need, yes hes a **** but hes a **** that tries hard and wants to win and as shown at city he is also a very good footballing ****

so in summary he is a **** but we should sign him up

Didn't fancy him from West Ham, but he has been great for City. He is the guy who has essentially sent Robinho packing.

Just put in another thread how he would be a good signing for us. All depends on who City bring in and whether he gets bumped down the pecking order. He is a complete fuck, but he is also the kind of player I am sure Harry would love.

Definitely didn't want him from West Ham, but now I would be more than happy.

Another pacey wide player would be nice. I love the workrate of Bellamy aswell. If not him then Petrov might be worth a look. If recent ITK is true, Ashley Young could be another possility.

It would just be great to have another alternative to Lennon, or 2 quick wingers in the same team. We don't really have that option now with Giovani unlikely to play for us again.

I don't think his attitude on the pitch would do us any harm at all and as long as he behaves off it, you've got yourself a great little player. Works his nuts off, gets back to help out as well and scores/provides goals.

He 100% wanted to come to us before as well, but Wet Spam blocked it.

I don't know.

I make a point of getting behind every member of the team, not just the fashionable ones. I'd find it very difficult to get behind him.

Would I like success with him in the team rather than no success without him in the team? Yes. Would I cheer if he scored? Of course. Still find it hard to support him but I would I suppose.

Why do people associate being a lippy twat with having a 'winning attitude'? In that case lets just sign Liam Gallagher and win the league!

he's a good player, buuuut....

a) He wont fit in with the strikers we have
b) He's a bit of a knob, not exactly good for morale
c) Man City wont want to sell him, he's doign a great job
d) He's Welsh
e) He's a knob
f) He's not as good as any of the strikers we have
g) He's a massive knob

ROBERTO MANCINI has been involved in an astonishing bust-up with Craig Bellamy.
It ended with Manchester City's boss screaming at the player: Get out - and don't come back for THREE MONTHS.

Mancini exploded after Bellamy refused a request to train on Thursday with one of the manager's Italian staff.

The £14million striker was ordered into Mancini's office, where the pair had a heated exchange.

A stunned insider said: "The manager was yelling 'Why are you always questioning me? Why won't you do as you are told? Why are you always questioning everything at training and in games?'.

"Bellamy argued back that he only wanted what was best for the club.

"But Mancini snapped 'I want you to leave now. And do not come back for three months'."

Bellamy had just completed a one-on-one training session on Wednesday with a member of City's sports science department, when he was approached by Mancini's Italian trainer.

He told the Welsh international to report to him on Thursday for more training, which Bellamy refused to accept.

He insisted only he and the sports science staff knew how to handle his injured right knee.

After the bust-up, Bellamy stormed away and was immediately contacted by City chief executive Garry Cook and the club's football administrator Brian Marwood.

They advised him to return to training on Thursday. But Bellamy refused, insisting he would go back only when Mancini invited him to.

Bellamy had a meeting with Marwood last night. He was again advised to return to training today and apologise to Mancini.

While Bellamy is expected back at training, he will refuse to apologise, telling Marwood he has no reason to say sorry.

Bellamy joined City in January 2009 and is a huge fans' favourite for his wholehearted displays.

The bust-up is the worst possible preparation for City's Eastlands showdown with Liverpool on Sunday, as both clubs battle for a Champions League place.

Marwood and Cook are desperate for Bellamy to play because top scorer Carlos Tevez is in Argentina following the premature birth of his child.

It's not so much him running his mouth though. He fights for the ball when City don't have possession. He has pace to burn. And we could do with someone who can operate the left channel. We could potentially use him ina 4-3-3 with Lennon on the right, and Defoe in the middle. It would suit the Croatians coming infield from the left.

We probably have a few knobs anyway.

He'd be an excellent signing, as long as he continue to be injury free.

The million-dollar question (actually, the multi-million pound question). Also, he's got to have a manager he can get on with.

Why do people associate being a lippy twat with having a 'winning attitude'? In that case lets just sign Liam Gallagher and win the league!

Indeed. He's altogether better.

But he is a Grade A twat.

As an all-round forward definitely better than the ludicrously overrated Defoe. I'd add a whole lot of provisos to that, mind you, but if it wasn't for injuries and being an international-class twat Bellamy would be a genuine world-class player, or pretty close. JD's good, but nowhere near as good as his fan club believes.

He is way, way beyond scum.

Would hate to see him get his grubby hands anywhere near our beloved club.
