Have you been on here lately? there's been more shark jumping than an... er.. um... thing.

Hey...if your proclivities preclude you towards jumping sharks, who am I to say...though I would imagine the BJs are a tad hairy - giving and taking

I was on COYS ages ago and it was strict and I was being vocal about Defoe (I still am but just don't mention it as by now people will know he is not my flavour of player!) But yeah it is completely different. This place is more homely and a bit mad!!! Anyone else used to go on glory glory in the days of East Stand Sal etc? That feels a life time ago LOL

Tried to sign up there once, but the whole process seemed so over elaborate and annoying that I gave up. Spurs Community and Total Tottenham take up more then enough of my time !

They banned me without me even applying to join them. Was sent an email telling me not to even think about it.

I was banned for having the definition of a supporter as my sig.
Beat that!!!!!

Ha ha! Didn't go down well with the Johnny come lately's. They used to hate it when anyone used the term "hardcore support", probably because most of them follow Tottenham from behind a computer! Some good lads on there too, to be fair.

TBF, I think a lot of us are supporting Spurs from behind a chair ATM - much like a child hiding from the Dr Who opening sequence back in the day

Have wished I had been too recently! Bloody long trip home after a poor performance. Even worse on a Sunday when you have work on the Monday.

I resigned from COYS. It was a good forum, it was just eating into working my life a bit too much at the time.

Prof always struck me as a decent bloke. Hope he gets it sorted but you'd think a lot of people want some payback after being banned for a misplaced semi-colon or not being celebratory enough after the 9000th '1000 posts' thread of the day. Actually, it wouldn't suprise if it has become a forum dedicated to posters congratulating themselves and others on how many posts they've made.

SC's pretty cool, especially now I've sorted out my avatar.

Perhaps I should change the title of this thread. I didn't mean 'everyone attack the COYS website'!

Plenty of nice and interesting people on there, though I don't really get the post count celebration thing either. I guess it's celebrating their commitment and contribution to the website.

Any thread eventually turns into an attack on the subject of said thread. This is the internet and there are rules.

Did anyone here ever use the old Spurs messageboard??

it was literally a website with loads of threads but no real structure.

it was my first real foray into the world of the online Spur.

I was living in the States at the time of my footy forum initiation so I found myself in that vast, unending expanse of threads - bigsoccer. Decent Spurs base there and I even bitched and moaned enough to get an off-topic forum opened. Yay me!

Then hung out in one of the smaller forums - 50 or so hardcore members. Tried COYS, life started to get in the way, stopped all internet activity expect the bare minimum required under law - 5 hrs a day of the most deviant and twisted pr0n imaginable.

Got promoted, work from home often enough and voila. You lucky biznitches get the honour and privilege of my company.
