We’re linked to Everton’s James garner as an alternative to Gallagher

We were strongly linked 18 months ago when he left Forrest also, so could be a long term Paratici target.

Ideal playmaking 6 and plays RWB and RB also, so a good rotation player profile for us.

Defensively smart, good footwork and composed when pressed, excellent passing range and progression, good engine.

Can't imagine Everton would let him go willingly, but if they went down there would be a lot of takers.

Can honestly say I don't know a single thing about this player.

If history is anything to go by, I fully expect James Garner to strike up a decent partnership with Werner.

Instead of trying for Garner, the player I’d like from Everton is Dwight McNeil. I think he’d be excellent for the inverted LB role cover. Granted his underlying defensive metrics might not be up to snuff but his energy, close control and driving runs are top notch. His stamina is unreal also.

Could be a decent LWF option against a low block. Very good delivery if we’re struggling to break a team down and need to go a bit more direct.

Another key goal tonight

I find it baffling that people don't see his qualities
Oh I see his qualities, I just don't think they stand out very much.
But then football's a game of opinion and I'll be honest in saying that I don't watch every Chelsea match.

Would absolutely love to try and get Gray. Be great if we could work out some sort of deal with Rodon staying there.

Great look at how he fared yesterday against more illustrious counterparts.

A prospective midfield axis of Gray and Bergvall could be a mouthwatering prospect

Tbh i'd be really disappointed if we don't try and get him. Even if we left him on loan there for another season. Incredible talent.

We could really do with Leeds not getting promoted to give us the best opportunity but I think it's clear he has it very much like Bellingham did for Birmingham.

A permanent deal with a season loan can benefit all here but then the fee Leeds will look to command based on his talent/potential and on signing a new deal I think we are looking at £30m plus.

And I think he’d probably be worth that all things considered.
