yeah all he needed was a run of games, too bad he never got that under ramos...would have been a better option than a certain under performing irishman right about now

how did you make that out to be an under performing irishman:shrug:

What a load of crap!

Defoe can't handle competition and will never be able to be a BIG player.

More important, a team that playes a game that is better suited to Defoe.

Good for him. I liked how he always pushed Keane onto the higher level, and I dont think Keane would be ever so good without Defoe...But Keane has to start scoring goals again. Hopefully he can restart it today, his last goal was against Derby no!?

Gets stuck on the bench and haven't got a fuckin clue on how to get into a team again.

Can you prove he doesn't have a clue?

Or for the fact that Jol perferd Keane meas he had no fucking clue?

If he is still our player, I wonder what the chances are that he ends up our top scorer this season.

He isn't Bill,

However i think he actually has 10 Premiership goals which is only 2 behind Keane 7 berbs with half of the playing time.

There is a very good chance that he will end up with more Prem goals this season than any of our boys.

I didn't want hi to go because I knew this would happen but he just wasn't good enough to break the berba keane partnerhip. The moment he joined pompey I added him in my sun dream team and has got me about 40 points already so can't complain too much

Blimey. Didn't realise he was that close. Fair play to him.

* Looks forward to SS57's impending 'goals Vs shots/minutes on pitch analysis to show that JD is in fact ordinary *

Oh, and do you have any official confirmation of the permanancy of the move? And what was the final figure? I've heard a few bandied around but haven't ever seen anything categorical. Even our official site's release was a little ambivalent if memory serves.

He's given us all he could, so hope he does well for the rest of his career. Don't mind if he scores a hattrick against us as long as we win the game.
