Brentford are my 2nd team as I grew up near there, have several mates as seasons ticket holders and been to watch them many times over the years as they endlessly tried and failed to win the play offs. Very pleased about this signing and more so because I'm going to watch them against Arsenal on the 19th so it will be sweet to hopefully see him bang one in top bins to win the game

Brentfords biggest signing (Neil Shipperley aside)

It's going to take time for him. Brentford are essentially safe so a good club to ease him back. Although I take it the 1 year option is theirs so they could have him next season. Would be great to see him back home next season.

Used to go to Brentford in late 80's/early 90's. This is a fantastic signing for them. Best club other than us he could go to.
Slighlty worried for Brentford fans on Sky Sports saying he will improve their corners !

Just nice to see them excited tbh. I don't mean that to sound patronising.

Great to see him back. Will look forward to seeing him on the pitch for them. Sod's law he beats the first man with a corner against us? ?

Wish him the best of luck. After what happened it will be amazing to see him on the pitch again.

new quotes from Conte
https://footylight.com/news/437199/...n-return-and-admits-interest-in-spurs-reunion
"No, honestly we didn't talk about [re-signing him]. I am surprised about this situation," Conte told a news conference ahead of Wednesday's clash with Southampton.
"I thought he needed more time to come back, to play in England. For Tottenham, he is part of the story and to come back here could be a good opportunity for me and him and the club.
"But now he's signed for Brentford only for six months, we will see what happens. I met him on Sunday, it was good to speak with him and see him with his family, and I will be the first person to be very happy to see him on the pitch again.
"We spent a good time at Inter, we won the league and spent important seasons together. Wish him the best in the future. You don't know what will happen. It would be good to have him again and work together."

With the new Gareth Bale rumours and now these quotes this feels like a marvel script where the gang get back together for one last attempt at glory against all odds

It made no sense for us to sign him as he will need time to get up to speed but also needs (and wants) to play. If he proves he is not only fit but also tears it up at Brentford then hopefully we can then reconsider.

All these links to players on a free transfer, feels like an FM save, we will have 7 new players join next summer. Following summer we will sell them all for £100m, profit.

Would like Eriksen back if he can get upto match fitness with Brentford and shows he can still do it at this level. Again, if Conte wants him, then why not.

It all comes full circle.

Who better to replace Eriksen, than the actual man himself?

If he can get back to full fitness he'll be such an asset.
