Just got back from the game, Gunter was man of the match by an absolute streak today, in my opinion. Defended extremely well, got forward pretty well, first touch let him down once or twice, but otherwise a hugely encouraging debut.

played well VERY RIGHT FOOTED SO NOT A LEFT BACK!but defends well and also likes to overlap, made a couple of great covering headers at the back post... i like him.
although our man of the match was tanio, broke play up and didnt give it away all night... i dont rate tanio but was by far our best player tonight and kaboul i also thought played well.

no i dont think so... not as good as bale either but more of a defender than bale and def a right back considering how much he puts it on his right peg! he did well and is also good in the air

almost perfect debut, made some smart interceptions and raced for the byline and also made good tackles and important last gasp blocks. 8/10 for a youngster on the his opposite wing, probably 9 actually.
