Tuchel really is a brillant coach, fair play to that.
Probably the best, in no-time turned mediocre Chelsea to best team in Europe, outclassed Pep in CL final too. Tactically the best, but seems to fuck up relationships with players often. Luckily Chelsea can easily keep recycling their team.

I really feel this is a turning point for the club. Tuchel looks a bit shook and under pressure now with us breathing down their necks. We haven't done well today but honestly I just think Chelsea has always been a bad match up for us (like we are to City). To go there and dig deep without being at our best and come back twice shows the character is there. We fought them in the 2nd half and we didn't lay down for a change, even a bit nasty at times but necessary.

What a difference the subs have made as well. Perisic with his delivery from the corner and I think we can take advantage of his long throws. Richarlison with his pressure and runs into the channels along with a threat from crosses. Bissouma with his control in midfield and did great tracking back to prevent a chance for Chelsea. All made a difference, even Moura came on and did a job at wing back.

Our first 3 games this season are all games we lost last season. 2 games in and we're on 4 points. Progress.

What a point, had verbals with a Chelsea fan in the pub after you know its a good result when they are throwing their toys out of the pram

they were talking about the ref letting things go and Souness was saying he loved it as it was like “a man’s game again”. Then the presenter had to do some back-pedalling to pre-empt the predictable backlash by trying to say it’s a woman’s game too and that Karen carney (one of the 2 other studio pundits) was throwing tough tackles about for chelsea women’s team in her day.

Whisper it but that's how teams win titles. Stay in a game you are not playing well in and get something. Nobody can say Conte wasn't brave today. We finished that game with Kane, Richarlison, Kulu, Lucas and Perisic all on the pitch. Lucas at RWB at that. You have to say that our brilliant transfer window got us out of jail today and that's down to Conte's demands. So happy right now. That feels like a win. I hate Tuchel so much. He thought at 2-1 that it was over didn't he? Conte made him look a real dickhead when Kane equalised and he couldn't take it. Well done lads, you stuck at it in a game where you were really not playing well. Onwards and upwards. COYS!

Did he get the ball? I've watched it 5 or 6 times and think he takes the man every time.

Toe gets the ball. Because he goes around him, rather than through him it's a good tackle that just gets the ball before Havertz leg connects with his.

Good refereeing backed up by slow mo replay.

Fuck you Tuchel you twat

Souness won’t be on these games for much longer. He keeps going on about it being ‘a man’s game’ which it clearly isn’t anymore as there is a woman commentating right next to him. I will be quite glad he goes as I think he is rubbish. And generally ingrained anti-Spurs.

Set pieces still kill us, need more depth in defense, better RWB, and a creative midfielder (we can maybe get away without some of those but can't do better than top 4 finish that way IMO).
Yep to all of this. We improved on last season but we scraped a point there. If we want to go there and win we need:
top CB
creative CM who can take set pieces
1 more AM
Ideally upgrade on RWB or get Doherty or Spence in for Emerson.

We are closer but not quite there yet.

Richarlison doesn't make an attempt to play the ball either
Yeah the argument our pundits in Sweden had was that he stepped towards the ball - I mean, he was with his side to it and tried to step away… but the path changed.

Hopefully not, was silly but was just a hair pull not a neck grab etc.

BUT he does need to watch himself as he’s grabbed people before and will be getting a red or worse a lengthy ban if he doesn’t calm down just a touch.

Well if the little fucker had gotten his hair cut they wouldn't be duscussing it on Sky.
