Yeah. So small clubs who fall foul will get bent over. The big clubs, the ones who told UEFA to shut their bitch mouths and start the CL 20 yrs ago or they're fucking off, will continue as usual.

Yet it is those big clubs that want it implemented to stop the next City's and Chelsea's coming in. Would the CL suffer for a year without a City or PSG? It survived many years without them before.

Indeed not. RM would be a different matter though. Still, no doubt there are enough loopholes etc to ensure that a club like RM will always be considered financially responsible.

UEFA started the whole frigging CL shebang because of the threat of the richest clubs to break away and form it's own league. I think Platini is a moron half the time but this is definitely one of his more lucid ideas and I wish him luck with it. As you can tell I remain highly sceptical.

They are being investigated for being a state funded club, its mainly happening because the EU is not taking this shit after bailing out Spain

Real Madrid made 37m euro profit. How will FFP effect them?

http://www.realmadrid.com/cs/Satellite/en/Actualidad/1378586643992/noticia/Noticia/Real_Madrid’s_revenue_totals_520.9_million_Euros,_its_net_profit_amounts_to_36.9_million_Euros,_.htm

They may have debts, but that doesn't matter under FFP as long as they are paying them. They may well have received state aid in their property deals that is being investigated by the EU. But again is nothing to do with FFP.

But isn't the Spanish TV money distribution being reappraised to make it more equal? If Barca & Madrid aren't getting £125m+ more than all the other teams in their league then that may have a huge effect over there.

It will be more equal. But nowhere near equal. Madrid and barca will still get the lions share.
They may have to make some cuts. But they make over £500m a year.
The big one is that they are deemed a charity in spain so have to pay less tax. If the eu deem this as anti competitive they may face a huge fine.

I don't think Real Madrid will ever have to worry about not adhering financially. If their debts cause problems for them the Spanish government will just buy another training ground off them for an exorbitant price or make them a registered charity or summink.
