"First of all, congratulations to Leicester, to Claudio Ranieri and his players, it has been an amazing season for them,” he said.
“We are disappointed because of how the game went. We had the opportunity to get the three points, but it’s always difficult. It was a battle. We are the youngest squad in the Premier League and we feel proud, proud of our players and supporters.
“We are still trying to make history. It’s true we feel sad and disappointed but heads up, the season has been fantastic in the way that we have played and the principles we’ve set out.
"Now we need to win the next games and try to be sure of second place. This is our objective now.”

“It’s the last game of the season in our stadium with our supporters and time to say ‘thank you’ for the whole season. All together, we can be even stronger and the future can only be fantastic.”

Bitterly disappointed with the result yesterday for a couple of reasons:
* Obviously, means we lost our chance to win the PL. However, this was always a long-shot and I firmly believe Leicester will beat Everton and, even if that didn't occur, would get a result at Chelscum
* The actions of some of our players yesterday was a bit OTT. I am so pleased that we have changed from the 'rollover' club that we used to be and now have fight. However, I think yesterday the occasion got to some of our players (maybe to be expected given the age of some of them, lack of experience and what was riding on the game). We lost our discipline and I think that affected how we played.
* We still didn't win at Stamford Bridge. I sooooooo want to break that hoodoo.

However, overall, it's been a great season and I love what my club has become. We have an intelligent and classy manager and players that have progressed so far in such a short time. Very hopeful for upcoming seasons.

Now, beat Southampton at the w/e and guarantee 2nd spot. Champions League here we come!!! :)

Obviously disappointed that we threw away a 2 goal lead, especially as Chelsea feel like they have won in some way.

We might have taken the fight a little far at times but I would prefer to see that then the opposite. I thought Chelsea wasting time at 2-2 was about the most pathetic thing I have ever seen in football. Very small time. Hopefully that is a sign of things to come.

Let's win against Southampton, put Arsenal to bed and then we can enjoy our holidays and see what Pochettino and Levy rustle up in the transfer market. We'll need to bolster that squad to have a title tilt and give the Champions League a proper go.

Although The Dream Is Over, we have to keep pushing for that
SECOND PLACE now...it won't be easy though; Southampton and especially Newcastle, will be hard to beat, BUT YOU CAN DO IT BOYS!!
Proud of the way you played last night; hard tackling, no quarter given....A real football game that was, (could have done without the handbags at the end though).

I think I would have been less disappointed had we beat Chelsea, then Leicester go & win it front of their own fans. The manner in which the two-mistakes were punished really irritated me, however what infuriated me further was sinking to Chelsea's level & leaving the foot in when going into challenges; taking the bait & becoming involved in the anti-Semites 'bully-boy' tactics.

The experience of this season will serve the players well for future title challenges, however I am firmly of the belief that we need some degree of experience for the new season because otherwise we may well see a repeat of the outcomes seen in both yesterdays match & the West Brom game. The prominent youngsters of the 'class of 92' that figured so heavily in the Manchester Utd team that won the 95-96 title still had experienced heads in the form of Cantona, Schmeichel, Irwin, Keane, McClair, Pallister, Bruce, Cole etc. to guide them & steady the ship when things didn't go according to plan in matches.

We don't really have this really in our side; men who know how to deal with difficult circumstances & not let the occasion get the better of them. I think someone like a Carrick, or Xabi Alonso would be excellent these circumstances because they know what it takes to see out a game, a campaign.

Nevertheless, we should all be proud of what the players have done this season & I look forward to finishing off the season with a flourish. Preparation, as always, will key for next season.

Well said, it's a pity but let's win the next one and it won't matter so much. I don't think we'd have won the league if we had beaten Chelsea, I'm just sorry we didn't beat them when we had the chance.
