What kind of a hit was it? Are we talking a Ben Thatcher forearm smash or a Jose Mourinho stroke on the cheek? Both are seen as violent conduct after all. My gut tells me that it was not something which could've in any way caused severe injury in the same way as Adam raking his studs down someone's leg. I am happy to be corrected.

After Duff passed the ball he punched him in the face! He then went on to hit Scott Parker too, Taricco was a nasty piece of work mate.

The problem is, I funny add the Sandro thing was, if he ever did injure the horrible **** he'll be under the spot light.

Agree with this. Sandro is the life blood of this team but as much as I loved his tweet, footballers really should stay away from social media.

I think we should all tweet Charlie Adam with pics of ourselves looking menacing (I'm not sure I'm capable of this but I'll try) with [insert scary nickname here] is watching you!

I'm rather hairy so mine could be 'The Sasquatch is watching you'!

http://hereisthecity.com/en-gb/2014...ndro-watching-adam-potential-disrepute-charg/

Stoke City manager Mark Hughes is unimpressed with Tottenham Hotspur midfielder's messaging on social media.
Charlie Adam had to field accusations that he has it in for Tottenham Hotspur after a studs-up challenge on Paulinho led to the Brazilian succumbing to injury when Spurs defeated Stoke City by 3-0 on the last bill of Premier League matches in 2013.
AVBs tactics more 'frustrating' than Sherwood's, implies Spurs star[/a]
Adam, of course, vehemently refuted the notion.
But the Spurs roster remained unconvinced, with Sandro leaving a light-hearted message intended for Adam on Twitter and Instagram indicating 'the beast is watching you'. Attached, was a photo of Sandro taken during Tottenham's Hallowe'en pranks a couple of months ago.
Stoke manager Mark Hughes does not believe there is a funny side and claims it could be worthy of a disrepute charge from the FA.
He told The Sentinel: 'We don't appreciate some of their [Tottenham] players Twittering on their own sites about 'Waiting for Charlie'. I think that has the potential for a disrepute charge in itself, so we'll see if that's responded to.'
On whether Adam has it in for Tottenham, Hughes added: 'Why would he? It doesn't make sense but there's a lot of good players who couldn't tackle.'

Lol what a plum!
