Well if napoli win by 3 they'd have even GD, does then goals for rule then apply?

If dortmund and napoli both win then Arsenal, Dortmund and Napoli will all be on 12 points. They will be split by the results between the three treams in a mini league. In the above scenario all would have the same points (as everyone took 6 points from marseille) so it would go down to goal difference again.

At the moment Dortmund are on +1 (this can't change as they are playing marseille which doesn't count in the mini league) Arsenal are on +2, and Napoli on -3. So Napoli need to beat arsenal by 3 goals.

Which might be better in the long run in case we bump into them in the Europa...;)

In fact, there's some pretty big clubs dropping down: Juve, Shakhtar, Schalke, Porto...

You have to fancy Juve now for the Europa, still, a tie against them at the Lane would be something.

Maggio should have taken it round the keeper. Sczczczczczeszney would most likely have fouled him.

Has there been a period of sixty seconds or more where the ref hasn't blown his whistle yet?

Yep, that would be brilliant. Bet the atmosphere would be spine-tingling.

Although fate dictates that we're drawing Porto for the next round right?

Hell yeah! No disrespect to the clubs in our group, but two of them I've never heard of, and one of them I'm pretty sure is fictitious. The tournament was at its best last season when we were up against big teams like Lyon and Inter.

If we're going to play in the EL, I want us to play the best.

I thought as group winners we couldn't draw a CL not-good-enough-but-have-a-second-chance team, but it turns out we can... When did they change that? It seems stupid that we could win our group with a 100% record but draw Juventus in the first knock out round whilst Wigan could scrape through and get Basel. Another UEFA masterstroke.

Tsk, don't knock Basel dude, they'll make you pay!

I think that we can draw the four CL who go into the Europa 'unseeded', so the ones with the lowest points totals? But yes, it's utterly ridiculous.
