Out if interest, how do you know where you are in the points list? I know how many I have but is it poss to tell how far up (or more likely down) the queue that puts me?

LP. ST OHM
000-049 3,594 79,766
050-099 12,015 42,715
100-149 7,542 11,318
150-199 6,066 2,621
200-249 3,960 790
250-299 2,406 262
300-349 2,946 106
350-399 1,078. 42
400-449 724 18
450-499 709 6
500-549 469 4
550-599 283 6
600+ 325 10

LP - loyalty points
ST - Season ticker holders
OHM - one hotspur members.

There are roughly 13000 ST holders and 1000 OHM with over 200 points. Another 6000 between 150 and 200 points so the cut off will likely be somewhere around there.

Edit - sorry, it looked much better in the preview!!

5 to 6 hours
You gonna share it with someone or do it yourself?

I've done 5 hours in a Mustang on the West Coast of the states.
5 hours in a Corsa through Lisbon and Spain I'm not so sure about lol.

Although I wouldn't have the wife nagging this time.

Original plan was to drive all the way from London so the 5 hours or so from Lisbon shouldn't be a problem.

Assuming everyone applies? Might it get complicated with different prices and how much folk are willing to pay?

Im really hoping for either people drop dead or people decided not to go cos of the costs or just decide not to go.

Im loking for snookers to get a ticket - I have 190 points.

I am serious considering it.

Flights and a shit car coming in at £360 from Stanstead.
I think I need to wait to find out if enough people decline a ticket though. 101 points is too risky.

A mate booked a cheap hotel in getafe and valencia accom is fairly cheap.
proper room or a 8 bed hostel?
I couldn't find anything in Madrid within an hour of the stadium for less than £400 the night and some of those were hostels.

Firstly I wish to make clear interrail is far cheaper than most options suggested. Even with booking it will be 300 euro ish. Another options with those with time is to fly to France and blabla car it. Travel is expensive in Spain an blabla car is very common place and affordable.

also interrailing will give you flexibility in accommodation.

also the atleti stadium is well connected to commuter towns. For accommodation try alcala de hernares I think trains and buses run late. Night buses also run through the night and connect to many commuter towns.

Twin bed in a hotel. No idea what it’s like cos my mate booked it. He booked it a while ago though presumably hotels were always pricey as they’d have known they were hosting it but perhaps they went up once they knew Barca werent in it as less demand to stay over.

It’s a bit if mate but we may have space for one more in one of twin rooms if you’re on your jack and don’t snore!

I'm gonna wait until I know whether my shitty loyalty point score will be enough.
You can't get refunds on flights and £350 is a bit steep.

Treating the beech to a full tank of gas. I'll meander down to bordeaux , slurp up some more fuel, throttle back and enjoy the cruise to madrid the day before. Probably 6 hours+however long picnic is.
Cost £0
Cost to 6 friends £200 no price gouging here. :D
