How is it SUPPOSED to be pronounced?
I always read it as ca-pou-way but the sky commentators say it Capp-ou.

Been bugging me since the palace game.

It's Ca-pou.

There's no accent on the 'e' like Eboué.

A very short 'oo' sound as opposed to 'ooo', kind of like a gorilla sound as opposed to an amazed sound at a magic trick.

Aren't the u and e meant to be silent so it would pronounced Capo?

This.

Although Jamie Redknapp and Hoddle insist on calling him 'Capooey'
