What's new

Can we take a moment to laugh heartily at Everton?

they’re apparently appointing some guy named Vitor Pereira as their manager. He apparently was a flop at Fenerbrache and got some Bundesliga 2 team relegated to the third division, but did well at Porto before those shenanigans and a couple of years long stint in China.
Because an overseas journeyman manager with zero experience in English football is exactly what you need when you're 4 points above the drop and have no money to spend to improve the squad.

Might be worth sticking something on Everton to go down at 5/1.

Reminds me of when Aston Villa appointed Remi Garde, or when we appointed Christian Gross.

 A great day in the history of Tottenham Hotspur Football Club. We really should have realised from day 1 we were gonna be fighting relegation.

Why do professional sports people speak to Sky before they have signed a contract (Pereira, Kane etc...). It is unbelievable. Surely he can't get the job now?!?

GoT

Yes, he's precisely the man we need.

If we're getting relegated then I want us to go with a bang, players scrapping with each other, Vitor diving into the crowd for a punch up with fans, pitch invasions, everything you could possibly imagine.

The clubs dead, lets accept it and start revelling in the carnage between now and the end of the season.

It's still quite funny, but I do get the sentiment of what he was trying to get at here. I guess he could have done better with executing his point aha
