Good player, and more than just a goalscorer too. He's big and good in the air, and always puts a shift in.

Not sure if the interest is genuine though.

I was harping on about him a few weeks ago. Is built for the premiership and at only 5m euros would be a great addition assuming we are signing another top striker. Was pretty sure his move to Lazio was done.

I thought lazio was done.... I'd given up hope. If he's still available then its a no brainer. You won't find better for that price.

Does look worth a punt, unfortunately though, unless we've been following him for a while I doubt we are genuinely in for him without a manager to ok it.

This is the video I posted a month or so back. Yes he gets a lot of goals playing off the last man but he possesses a great strike, size, strength, pace and Hiddink said he was one of the hardest working strikers he'd ever worked with and was getting better all the time. Would be a great early signing so we can concentrate on getting bigger signings is and not worry about having no strikers at all. Oh and we were linked to him in March or April.

The strike from outside the box is very good but it's difficult to tell from the footage what his movement is like as the opposition defence tends to be on holiday every time he gets the ball, lol

But for £4m? snap him right up :)

The older set of fans would be able to recognize it. He is Malcolm MacDonald re-incarnated and blessed with better ball skills.
Like to have him in our squad.

Good shout. Remembering back that far actually hurt though.

He also reminds me a bit of Viduka when he wasn't on one of his Winnie the Pooh days.

Yeh he's played up top alone for Turkey quite often I believe.

Hiddink said:
Burak is a modern professional footballer, I like his determination and hard-working character. He never complains about anything in training. He gives power to the whole team and never avoids taking risks in matches. He is the type of player you rarely see nowadays. He never gives up, he is great in one on one situations and plays with alot of passion and determination. I respect Yilmaz and am proud of his rapid development

Compare that with Hiddink comments on Pav...

When I saw him move in previous games and in the league I sometimes got annoyed," Hiddink said. "If you are a well paid professional, you need to work like hell. You have to take this responsibility."

No mate, legal English Alien living in Oz.

Not sure how mentioning Winnie the Pooh relates to Canada though, wasn't A.A. Milne English?

Enquiring mind needs enlightenment.
