now i for one dont know much of him however i have many turkish friends that know alot about this guy and have raved about him many times .. and that he is a talented player that scores for fun..

seems like we have genuine interest in him

Good player, and more than just a goalscorer too. He's big and good in the air, and always puts a shift in.

I was harping on about him a few weeks ago. Is built for the premiership and at only 5m euros would be a great addition assuming we are signing another top striker. Was pretty sure his move to Lazio was done.

I thought lazio was done.... I'd given up hope. If he's still available then its a no brainer. You won't find better for that price.

Tottenham have been linked with a move for Turkey striker Burak Yilmaz - even though they don't have a manager.

Reports in Italy claim Spurs have made a last-minute to hijack Lazio's bid to sign the 26-year-old from Trabzonspor.

The Turk visited Rome earlier this week but has now told he wants until Friday to consider Tottenham's offer of a four-year deal worth £10m.

Yes he gets a lot of goals playing off the last man but he possesses a great strike, size, strength, pace and Hiddink said he was one of the hardest working strikers he'd ever worked with and was getting better all the time. Would be a great early signing so we can concentrate on getting bigger signings is and not worry about having no strikers at all. Oh and we were linked to him in March or April.

The strike from outside the box is very good but it's difficult to tell from the footage what his movement is like as the opposition defence tends to be on holiday every time he gets the ball, lol

Yeh he's played up top alone for Turkey quite often I believe.
