Bryan Gil has suggested that he will go into the summer with the mindset that he expects to remain at Tottenham Hotspur next season. Gil was speaking to AS, as he closes in on the end of another loan spell following his £22 million switch to Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in 2021.

Really hope he’s given a go by the new manager, I’m sure there’s a player in there

I like his attitude and from the snippets of interviews that he's done, he's always spoken well and 'correctly' i.e respectful of Spurs. I really hope he succeeds with us - he's got talent , just his physique holding him back.

One of the few that deserve a clean sheet and to see what they can actually do

Good to hear, looked like he was ready to break through before he went off on loan so hopefully he gets his chance under the next manager.

Needs to find a way round that. Modric did it brilliantly.

He's been really good of late and started most games under their new manager as they've pulled away from relegation trouble and are now looking towards getting into Europe again, albeit the Conference League. Still in the Europa League too (that goes without saying!)

he can't get a starting spot at Seville, he only comes off the bench now and then and didn't get a run at all last week
