Book signing in Harlow today

I went to the Spurs shop in Harlow this afternoon looking to buy a few bits. I didn't know there was a book signing going on today. Apparently Capoue and Ade were there doing their thing. As I tried to enter the shop one of the women there stopped me and asked if I had signed up for the signing, I said I was just there to shop. After an interrogation she then said I could enter the shop but at that point I was so pissed off, I just left.

I didn't know they closed the shop to anyone not booked for signings. Has anyone else had this happen to them?

That's quite a shitty attitude for the store to have, the only thing in their defence is that it's quite a small shop in the Harvey Centre
