True but my description of good defender would rule out most on that list and that includes the thugs like Pepe and Ramos. If I am being brutally honest Theo Walcott has had a better year than Bale

I do remember his (proper) breakthrough season though, classed as a LB on all the fantasy footies but played LW so you got poopers loads of points
