I'd love Lenglet and Laporte to cover our LCB and Romero and Tapsoba for our RCB those 4 with one younger option who Ange develops would keep us right for a while but doubt we sign Lenglet and Laporte tbh.

It seems like you didn’t watch Langlet last season… Bullied and out paced by many strikers he is not suited or good enough for the premier league

I think of all our reported targets, this is the one I'd be most buzzing with if he was to come in next.

Maddison and Laporte would be a ridiculous double signing.

I guess with the business we're doing it gives us more chance of convincing him. Get Laporte and Tapsoba and we'll seriously have strengthened at the back.

I would think any move on this would be linked with Gvardiol going to City then.

He's a good source for youth and lower leagues. Not that I believe this, just if it's anything football league related or youth, don't outright dismiss him

Weren't there early noises on this one? Was it eventually shut down? Can't help but feel if City get Gvardiol, then Laporte is probably available - wonder if it's one we're keeping an eye on.. would be ideal for the LCB position. Especially with the similarities in the way City play/ Ange wants us to play.

The issue is Laporte is not good enough to play rhat style at City. Why do you think he would be for us?
