Just got a Spurs alert Text saying our Away UEFA cup leg is in doubt due to a proposed Police Strike.
Tottenham’s UEFA Cup last-16 second leg in Eindhoven could be under threat of being postponed because of industrial action by police in Holland.
Spurs, who trail PSV 1-0 after the first leg at White Hart Lane, are due to play the second leg on Wednesday.
However, a police strike has already resulted in tomorrow’s top-of-the-table Eredivisie encounter between PSV and Ajax being called off, the second fixture in the Dutch league to be hit.
the game between AZ Alkmaar and Feyenoord was postponed by the mayor of Alkmaar, Piet Bruinooge, with Dutch police fighting for better pay and conditions.
Police unions have warned all games for this week could be at risk, including the UEFA Cup tie between PSV and Spurs.
great. So if the game does go ahead then they have longer rest because of their postponed match against Ajax. It will be a bit of a piss take if we rest players for west ham only to find out the game against psv is off
Your sig is cracking me up today
United to sell us the man they bought for £18.6m and is still seen as an integral part of the team AND their future number 1 goalkeeper?
Huntelaar to rot on the bench in our ongoing experiemtn to find a striker who can score even when he's not playing?
Everton to sell us their lynchpin? and them all wanting to actually come to WHL, a team currently 11th & playing in the Uefa cup?
brilliant, absolutely brilliant.
