If we were to sign him we wouldn't be to far from changeling for the league in 4 to 5 years. If we were to to buy a young world class striker our attack would to one of the best in the world with lamella and eriksen and a midfield Schneiderlin and another top midfielder and if the itk about a promising cb is true our defence should be v.soild with Ben Davies walker the cb and hopefully we can attract another top cb in the 4 to 5 years. So that's 3 to 4 top quality young players and a good management team and were not that far away.

I think this is more indicative of no one else needing him. His release clause has been known for a while.

If we were bidding than we have already had indications from him and his agent that he's interested. I don't buy Chelsea being interested, they've got Hazard, Schurle and Willian who play LF. Griezmann would be smart enough to know Hazard would be No.1. I imagine they were scouting him incase Hazard downed tools for PSG.

"London is a nice city" is really a weak argument. A french 23 years old would rather live in Monaco than London. We have Lloris, they know each other for 2 months or so, Monaco have Kondogbia, who have been playing with Griezmann in the U21 NT for years (won the WC together)

Interesting to see if the height of his ambition is Spurs.

We should try and hijack that deal and get Sakho and Remy on the phone to him.

After landing Remy for £8.5m, £25m for Griezmann suddenly seems unnecessarily high. If we're interested though there's no doubt which is the more interesting project between us and Spurs. Its basically Bright Lights vs CL and potential trophies + having a couple of French teammates in Sakho and Remy. Easy choice.

Griezmann would settle here though and be brilliant. I'd have him over Isco and Di Maria. Would hate it if he went to that shite club

If Griezmann is even entertaining the thought of playing in the PL, and that too at Spurs, we should be all over that. Especially with Arsenal not interested.

Looks like PSG are being restricted by FFP, and have to sell first. Otherwise, I really expected him to end up there.

Love the optimism, they would progress then be sold to Madrid!

But if there is a chance for Griezmann go for it, sod going for average rubbish like Bony, Remy and other mid-table c*** we are endlessly linked with. Buy quality Levy! we have a big squad just buy a few quality editions not mediocre rubbish.
